The kick off to this year’s Queensland Men’s Masters Hockey Championships is scheduled for 4-7 May 2018 in the beautiful tropical region of Cairns Far North Queensland.

We look very forward to welcoming you to our tropical paradise – and trust you will have time to get out and about and enjoy what we have to offer here in nature’s playground - two World Heritage listed wonders of Great Barrier Reef and ancient tropical rainforests to start. Add to this a great selection of restaurants, bars, night life, boutiques, walking trails, and a whole raft of activities to sink your teeth into.

COFFEE: Fresh Barista Coffee will be available at the hockey centre
BBQ: Hosted by the Cairns Hockey clubs –bacon & egg burgers from 7.30am daily and steak & ham burgers from 11am.
FOODS: Local Reef Fish and Chips, Fresh Pizza made on site, daily specials like nachos and loaded fries available while watching footy of the big screen
BARS: Main Bar – Great Northern Beer Garden will be set up on Grass Field 3 near the BIG SCREEN TV and the upstairs Bar will be open
KIOSK: Open to take hospitality orders, ice purchases, Non- alcoholic drinks and general kiosk items
FOOTY On the Big Screen: Come along to the Great Northern Beer Garden FNQ Big Screen TVs showing all the weekend Footy Games and the Races if available – Live at the venue.
PHOTOS: Photography will be taking team photos at scheduled times during the tournament for purchase. They can also be booked to film half a game.
INFO: There will be a marquee available for teams to use before and after each game. This is designed to embrace the culture and philosophies of Masters Events. If you want hospitality after the game, please order at the Kiosk.
